April 30, 2009: This mystery series is capitvating. I view the DVD's after reading the available Elizabeth George novels upon which some of the episodes are based. I'm never disappointed in book or TV adaptation.

December 14, 2004: Elizabeth George, a native Californian, absolutely nails the British mystery genre with her series of Inspector Lynley stories. The books were wonderful, but when I don't have time to read the books, the movies are a great substitution. Her sub-plots and side-stories keep everything interesting, and the actors do a great job of owning the characters that they play. A definite must for any fan of good mysteries!
