    October 08, 2009: Tommy Lee Jones, John Goodman and Peter Sarsgaard all star in this movie, based off the book!

    Most the other reviewers seem to have read the book (In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead by James Lee Burke), I haven't, but I did enjoy the movie anyway.

    It's not a high budget thriller, its a low budget mystery with a good storyline and great cast.

    Tommy Lee Jones (the good guy), John Goodman (one of several bad guys), Ned Beatty and Peter Sarsgaard (the middle man) make this movie work!

    Great cast, good story, a "B" movie that probably isn't on your radar, but one that is definitely worth watching!

    May 18, 2009: Or maybe because I'd read the book first, I expected too much. I've read all of James Lee Burke's books and often wished I could see them as movies, but it's harder to put action? on the screen well. The acting was great; Tommy Lee Jones was a perfect Robicheaux. The story was accurate; easy for me to follow, but difficult for my friend to follow (she hadn't read the book first).
