Editorial Reviews

When a motorcycle-riding stuntman offers his soul to Mephistopheles in order to save the life of the one he loves most, he is forced to play host to a powerful supernatural entity whose flaming skull visage strikes fear into the heart of his enemies in this feature-film version of the long-running comic series. By day, Johnny Blaze (actor and comic-book devotee Nicolas Cage) is one of the world's best-known stuntmen, but when the sun goes down and he is in the presence of evil, the death-defying daredevil bursts into flames to become the indestructible, motorcycle-riding antihero known to the world as the Ghost Rider. July 18, 2008: Id say this was more geared towards a younger audience then some of the other movies released by Marvel. Nicolas Cage was perfectly caste as a moody and dark character and Eva Mendes was a beautiful actress for the Romance cliche that accompanies the heroes story. The special effects were done well and as for the dialogue.. aside from an occasional slip into the un-original hero responses it wasnt that bad. I do agree that the romance had no real chemistry but I mean what is to be expected from Hells Bounty Hunter? Some heroes really dont go with the romance as good as others. Overall id give this 3 stars.

December 22, 2007: It's just a bad film all around. The story was too simplistic and silly, the romance had no chemistry, and the dialogue was horrible. For the most part the actual look of the rider was good, and that's about it. I wanted to see it since I am a fan of most comic movies, but this was just rotten.
