September 13, 2009: Each episode in this series is a unique drama about an individual incident or aspect of the Apollo space program. The cast is very well chosen, and there is some good acting and and solid directing. Not all episodes are equal, in my opinion, but the good ones are outstanding. My favorite is "Spider," the episode about the engineers and designers of the lunar module (LEM). I love the way that this series does not just focus on the astronauts, but makes heroes out of the nerdy engineers, the scientists in "Galileo was Right," as well as the astronauts' wives in 'The Original Wives' Club."

I Also Recommend: Apollo 13, American Experience: Race to the Moon.

September 10, 2006: When I saw this miniseries I thought about getting it because I will watch anything that has to do with space. But when I saw it was made by Tom Hanks and Ron Howard I said "I am definintly getting this!" I got it and love it! It really makes you feel like you were there and makes you wish you saw the real thing!
