    From Lawrence Welk to America With Love was a concert celebrating the memory of the beloved musician, bandleader, and television star. Hosted by Myron Floren and Norma Zimmer, the Branson, Missouri event was a showcase of musicians and dancers performing selections from Welk's legacy of 20th century American popular music. Included in the uplifting and nostalgic event were Big Band favorites, popular vocal ballads, patriotic classics, and inspirational standards.     December 08, 2003: If you are a fan of the weekly Lawrence Welk shows on PBS you will be satisfied with this DVD. Some of the biggies: JoAnn Castle, Bobby Burgess and Elaine Balden, Ralna English, Myron Floren, Norma Zimmer, Jimmy Roberts, Guy Hovis, Ken Delo, Anacani, Gail Farrell, Jack Immel,Mary Lou Metzger, three of the Lennon sisters, the Lennon Brothers and other performers from the Branson show present a mix of big band, pop, patriotic and inspirational songs. The program stays true to the TV show format.
