January 08, 2008: i remembered when i was a teen i was just clicking through channels and caught this movie on some channel. it was interesting and creepy at the same time and had never knew about the anime series. this is about a guy his girl and his friend turned foe. this movie was okay but the performance"s" i remember most was the one by chris penn when he was with the main character's girl and his head was covered in those leather things and that guy who played rufio in hook sorry keep forgetting the dude's name. wanted to see more of them. the setting reminded me of the mad max films and the whole apocalyptic wastleland theme. would be cool to have a remake but done in the right way. something we wish for any remakes.
