Editorial Reviews

U.S. Marshal Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is traveling through the Pacific Northwest with his delinquent daughter, Zoe (Jordan Hinson), in tow when all of a sudden he is distracted by a car coming in the opposite direction -- driven by him. Startled at the sight, Jack runs his car into a ditch and gets stuck. Searching for help, he stumbles upon the bizarre town of Eureka. Jack gradually discovers that the town, created by President Truman after World War II, is a secret enclave filled with scientists, inventors, and slightly cracked geniuses charged with creating new technologies for the government. But the work of America's brightest scientists can lead to both brilliant innovations and total chaos, as Jack soon finds out. Sworn to secrecy, Jack eventually befriends the locals and becomes the new sheriff in town. Costarring Joe Morton as Henry Deacon, Debrah Farentino as Beverly Barlowe, and Matt Frewer as Jim Taggart, Eureka premiered July 18, 2006, on the SciFi Channel. Christina Urban, Barnes & Noble
