During WWII, Sobibor was a notorious Nazi death camp. This gripping, fact-based drama chronicles the courage of an inmate who managed the largest escape from such a place. Thanks to him, over 300 prisoners were freed. Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

The Most Realistic Movie I've seen!!by Anonymous

May 23, 2002: This movie is the best!! We watched it in my 8th grade honors english class. I think we needed a movie like this, to make us understand that this ACTUALLY happened. Like Titanic, this movie was a documentary. Yet in Titanic, there was more fiction around it to enthrall the people to see it. Our class had to see it. It was part of our school education for the year. We had no choice, and neither did the people at Sobibor. They were tricked into going there, and paid their lives for it. That's why these kinds of death camps were so successful. They gave the victims some kind of pretence that made them believe they were actually going to live, but in the end, only a little over 300 out of over 600 people escaped. What a shame. I'm not Jewish, but I also agree with their motto: ''never again''. If anyone reads this, and has not seen the movie, I GREATLY urge you to see it. It will change your perspective on everything, guaranteed.
