An evil that had lain dormant for decades embarks on a bloody quest for revenge while struggling to defeat the darkness within in director Don Henry's character-driven vampire film. It's been thirty five years since Luis Diego (Justin Quinn) was buried alive in his desert tomb, but now he's been set free by a hapless treasure hunter. While everyone on the surface has aged, Diego remains as mysterious and handsome as the day he was laid to rest. His hunger for vengeance is as strong as his thirst for blood, and now that he's free Diego will destroy all of those responsible for his burial - including his beloved Sarita (Yvonne Rawn). Upon meeting Sarita's beautiful niece Maricela (Brenda Romero), however, Diego begins to wonder if the love swelling within his heart could somehow overpower the evil that has corrupted his soul. But Diego's lust for blood cannot be denied, and the harder he tries to resist his thirst the greater his inner rage grows. Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
