June 20, 2009: This is an excellent video to show middle and high school students. They need to be given a prelude description and historical reference dialouge before watching.

April 13, 2009: To say that this is an excellent documentary would be a detrimental understatement. This short viewing brings to light a horrendous tragedy that is too often suppressed in western media. It is unreasonably easy to find out about current events in pop culture; such as celebrities with legal issues. However, regarding crises on a humanitarian level, one must almost jump through hoops to get information. It is feasible to say that when more people who are aware of a genocide, the chances of intervention increase. It has been stated that if there were a genocide in Texas today, everyone would do their part to aid relief. Yet today, the world sits by and watches while Black people are exterminated because of their skin color. The U.S. government has acknowledged the acts in the Darfur region of Sudan as genocide. Yet progress is slow. Upon viewing this documentary, people will be compelled to help in some way. Even if it's only donating five dollars or telling a friend.
