I'm a little disappointed in the unrated version of "Cursed", simply because I was expecting exposed flesh, creative gore and killing methods. But instead, this film offers no more than the typical horror flick, a chessy since of humor, and some hollywood cheese efx on the werewolf (except for when they trun into werewolfs right before your eyes. However, in a way I liked this simply because it didn't try to take itself too seriously. Any in some way it pays omage to those drive-in "B" horror movies of ole. Christina Ricci was pretty sexy in "Cursed", even though she didn't have to shead any skin to be, and Mya the multi-talented singer/turned actress was also a treat. "Cursed" wasn't a bad movie, but it could have lived up to it's potential as a bonechiller like the film "Wolfin". Not a bad addition to the "B"/horror movie genre. I'm going to be generous with the rating.

Cursed a light, gory (if you bought the unrated version) andfun horror flick. Wes Craven certainly hasn't lost his touch with making a rollercoaster thrill ride. Cursed has a great cast including Christina Ricci, Joshua Jackson, Jesse Eisenberg, Judy Greer, Scott Baio, Milo Ventimiglia, with Shannon Elizabeth, and Mya. The movie centers on two orpahned siblings Ellie and Jimmy (Ricci & Eisenberg) who witness a werewolf kill a woman (Shannon Elizabeth). They are both bitten and cursed by the mark of the beast. Now it's up to Ellie and Jimmy to defeat thr beast before becoming werewolves themselves. ****
