Editorial Reviews

An unemployed homeless man who once turned to God for the answers to life's problems decides to share the information he received with the rest of the world by penning a series of best-selling books, and now his remarkable story comes to the screen in a biographical drama from producer/director Stephen Simon. There was a time when Donald Walsch (Henry Czerny) had no place to go and no one to turn to, but that all changed when he directed the hardest questions he had ever asked at the entity many view as the be-all and end-all of human existence. The answers that he received would not only change his life, but the lives of millions of readers as well. An unlikely spiritual messenger whose works subsequently sold over seven million copies and translated into thirty-four languages, Walsch's remarkable tale finally comes to the big screen courtesy of the producer behind such spiritual-centric films as What Dreams May Come and Indigo. May 21, 2009: It was so inspiring that I went back and re-read the books. I really believe the naysayers out there have

1. Never even read the series or seen the movie.

2. Don't believe it can be beneficial unless it includes brimstone and Hellfire.

All I can say is ... WOW!by Anonymous

March 05, 2009: My mother has been trying to get me to read the "Conversations with God" series for as long as I can remember. I had no clue they were written by Neale Donald Walsch. I've never been much of a reader, so I never even bothered to look at the books. BIG MISTAKE!

Today my mother & I were at Barnes & Noble to buy some books from a Recommended Reading list that I found online. As we were looking for them, I noticed Neale's name, which I recognize from "The Secret". I told my mom, "I had no clue these were written by Neale Donald Walsch!" We were tight on funds, and decided to hold off on purchasing the books but noticed the sticker on the front that said "Now a Major Motion Picture". We seeked out this DVD and bought it.

I just got finished watching it (through all of my tears) and I have decided that I will buy the books ASAP! I'm a recovered Meth addict, so there is a lot to Neale's story that I can directly relate to! I cried for him in several parts, I cheered him on in others, etc. I'm now extremely pumped up about reading his series!

I'm also very impressed with the acting performances. The main actor is so good, that having heard Neale's true voice in The Secret dvd, I couldn't tell a difference! All of the characters are so deep and lovable. I don't think that this movie would have been this good with the use of any other cast or any other script ... A!

I Also Recommend: The Secret (Extended Edition), Pay It Forward.
