July 17, 2009: When I ordered this movie I thought I was ordering "The Colditz Story"made in 1957 and starring John Mills, but I ended up with this movie. To make a long story short, I did enjoy this recently made (2006)fictional story starring Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers)about a Scottish soldier imprisoned in Colditz who escapes and weaves a web of destructive and even treasonous deception around him.I got hooked on the story even if ordinairily if I read the back of the case in the store I would have passed it by.The Scots accent by Lewis is remarkable,I didnt think an american actor could pull it off,if it had been phony sounding the whole movie would have fallen flat on its face! Recommended!
