August 16, 2003: Pete and Ray are brothers. Ray is having trouble with an estranged and pregnant wife who used to date his brother Pete. Pete and Ray haven't spoken since, then, when a friend needs help to deliver provisions to a remote Alaskan community they find they have to work together to survive the journey. The problems are multiplied when Ray keeps getting into trouble on the way and Pete's son, Michael, is having trouble dealing with the fact that his mother has left the family home. Pete is the glue that keeps this family together but even though he understands this is the way it has to be he still has to cope with a double betrayal of trust from his then girl-friend and brother and a rebellious teenager. This family realises that only by working together and forgiving each other can they survive the journey. Tom Wopat and John Schneider are excellent as feuding brothers. Kim Delaney is perfect as the estranged wife. Zachary Ansley is great as the disrupted teenager. This is a great film for all the family.
