Full Product DetailsThe most-watched show in the world (according to Reuters), CSI: Miami came in at No. 9 in the U. S. ratings for this fourth season (2005-6). David Caruso returns as forensic analyst Horatio Caine, head of the Miami-Dade crime lab and leader of its Crime Scene Investigation squad: Detective Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter), ballistics expert; Detective Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), fingerprint and drug identification expert; and Dr. Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander), coroner. Previously recurring characters that get permanent status in Season 4 include Detective Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), a fresh-faced cop who has a thing for Duquesne; Detective Frank Tripp (Rex Linn), a gruff Texas homicide detective; and Natalia Boa Vista (Eva LaRue) a new DNA analyst. The cases during the fourth season are typical CSI fodder: the police search for a missing 17-year-old in "Prey"; a pool boy is murdered, and the suspects include three housewives in "Three-Way"; Horatio hunts down a rapist after DNA evidence exonerates a man already in prison in "Payback"; and Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) makes an appearance in the CSI: NY crossover episode "Felony Flight." This season’s story lines take a more personal turn than in previous runs, beginning with "Shattered," during which Delko is suspected of buying marijuana from a drug cartel, Mala Noche. As revealed in "The Score," Delko was buying drugs -- but they were for his sister Marisol (Alana de la Garza), who has leukemia. Caine eventually becomes romantically involved with Marisol in "Silencer," and he discovers she may have more to do with Mala Noche that previously believed in "Driven." The romance between Caine and Marisol reaches a peak in "Open Water," leading to a wedding day celebration -- and the death of a major character -- in the two-part season finale, "Rampage" and "One of Our Own."
