    Editorial Reviews

Media saturation might have dampened enthusiasm for the electoral process, but the fact is that the 2000 Presidential race was one for the history books. For 36 days, the executive branch lacked a future leader as Florida became mired in details. Like all news agencies, CNN stepped up coverage in an attempt to explain the complicated and often tedious proceedings. CNN: Election 2000 -- 36 Days That Gripped the Nation is a wrap-up of the whole debacle featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with reporters involved, including Julie Woodruff, Bernard Shaw and Larry King. ~ Sarah Ing, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

July 10, 2003: This is a real inside view into the debacle of Butterfly, Hanging Chad and Pregnant ballots that lasted for 36 days between former Vice President Al Gore and Former Texas Governor George W. Bush before it was determined that the definite winner for the 43rd President of the United States was George W. Bush son of the 41st President of the United States George Herbert Walker Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush. The video takes you in 1 hour and 5 minutes through the news coverage with CNN Anchors and Reporters reporting the grueling task of counting and recounting ballots from in Florida where people allegedly said that there occurred voter fraud with the punch card ballot voting system and that votes were incorrectly read and tabulated because the ballots were incorrectly produced. You get the inside view of the entire debacle through the eyes and ears of CNN anchors like; Bill Hemmer, Bernard Shaw, Judy Woodruff, Candy Crowley, Jeff Greenfield, Bill Schneider, John King, and numerous others.
