With this DVD displaying both her innocent and knowing sides, Spears caps her rocket ride to superstardom. Hot on the heels of hitting it big with the successive smashes "...Baby One More Time" and "Oops! I Did It Again," Spears makes a technological smash with this multi-optioned disc. Britney Spears -- Live and More! shows the former Mouseketeer perking up the ears of Waikiki at a free beachside concert, performing hits from both of her multi-platinum releases. Mixed in with her glittering performances of "Sometimes", "Oops!," and "(You Drive Me) Crazy" are candid shots of the millennial sweetheart discussing life and love while blending in at the beach -- with the aid of wigs, sunglasses, and outright denial. But Live isn't content to just show Britney's fun in the sun: Skits from Spears' appearance on Saturday Night Live are also included, showcasing light touch and self-deprecating side (particularly as "Dawn," a disgruntled ex-Mouseketeer who tells all). The "more" refers not just to these skits, but to her videos -- clips that, more than anything else, document her development as a mature talent. "Lucky", "Oops!," and her latest, "Stronger," propel her beyond the contemporary "pop princesses" vying for her crown. Other special features include a programmable DVD jukebox and a photo gallery of Miss Spears at her sweetest. It's a must for any fan of Brit's pop! Michael Stabile, Barnes & Noble
