In turn-of-the-century London, three nannies from drastically different backgrounds form a tight-knit bond that guides them through the good times and the bad times in this period miniseries starring Clare Wilkie, Victoria Smurfit, and Tabitha Wady. As the caretaker for the children of London's most elite families, headstrong East End girl Mattie (Wilkie) has struggled to build a solid career as a trusted nanny. On the heels of a disastrous romance with the son of a respected Yorkshire family, Hannah (Smurfit) arrives in London with little more than her young infant and a prayer. Though former farm girl Lydia (Wady) may be a bit naïve, her relative innocence doesn't stop her doing her best for her forward-thinking new employers. When fate brings these three nannies together, a bond forms between them that will help them navigate life's unpredictable twists while learning the true value of friendship. June 21, 2003: I was very upset that ''Cold Feet'' finished here just recently, but was comforted in the thought that some of my favourite stars from that program, were in Berkley Square. This show has been fantastic, and rivals Upstairs & Downstairs. I have taped every episode and will watch it over & over!! Is there any chance that there will be another series in the future? Having stayed in London last year for 10 days it brought back many memories of the elegant old buildings of that era.

March 27, 2003: Berkeley Square is the coming of age story of three young women who decide to work for a living as nannies in the stylish Berkeley Square. The script as well as the acting is beautifully done. You find yourself wanting to know more and more about Lydia, Mattie, and Hannah. It also has one of the best romances in all of victorian stories that you will find. Buy this set and you will not regret it as you will cherish this story and want to share it with your daughters. Delicious!
