Just what the doctor ordered -- television's angriest physician is back on DVD. Fans love Ted Danson as Dr. John Becker, a cantankerous yet dedicated Bronx physician whose ranting and raving drives his friends and co-workers nuts. This season, when Becker goes to the rescue of his friend Jake (Alex Desert), the blind proprietor of the local newsstand, he gets shot, but meets an attractive doctor while recuperating. And as diner owner Reggie (Terry Ferrell) goes back to college, office manager and head nurse Margaret (Hattie Winston) is flabbergasted when wacky space-cadet nurse's-aid Linda (Shawnee Smith) taken in the diner's most annoying customer. This three-disc set includes all 24 Season 2 (1999-2000) episodes which originally aired on CBS.
