Editorial Reviews

Sights and sounds are the focus in this Baby Einstein production that combines the art of Vincent Van Gogh with entertaining puppet shows, captivating poetry and soothing music. Baby Van Gogh explores the basic colors red, orange, yellow, blue green and purple through the identification of images, feelings and emotions, and the interaction with objects encountered in each of six short video sketches. Each sketch is devoted to a specific color, and introduces viewers to poems by Julie Aigner-Clark and music by various classical composers. ~ Kathryn Tamms, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

May 09, 2009: I find the Baby Einstein series very educational for my grandson and wish they had this when my children were growing up. I believe it helps the parents to interact with the babies/children and also exposes children to a variety of learning experiences that they may not otherwise receive.

Not educational, not entertaining for my 0-18 month oldby Anonymous

April 17, 2004: My baby never showed an interest in the Baby Eistein videos, from 0-18 months. She did, howevrer, love the Baby Signs video, which taught her many first words by showing many views of actions of a single, basic object, and still fulfilling the rythmic, musical, entertaining, fast pace of the Baby Einstein videos. I wish this video had more fun with color, like the Baby Einstein Van Gogh Colors board book.
