August 01, 2009: Robert Wuhl's 2 episodes of "Assume the Position" are an informative way to look at history, and to get a younger generation to consider some of the ways they are similar to our ancestors, by "assuming the position" that history IS pop culture... Wuhl can be fairly manic at times in the course of this, but he presents some interesting facts and personalities from American history in a way that we haven't seen before, making the "dry, dull names and dates" vivid and human to his young viewers.... Some of the things he covers are spurious, mostly just for titillation, but his genuine enthusiasm for the subject shines thru...
