    Editorial Reviews

This ground-breaking British documentary offers the most complete biographical account ever compiled of the young Jewish girl whose simple diary entries and observations brought the grim realities of the Holocaust to millions of readers the world over. It not only includes interviews from survivors who knew her, it also looks into never before seen family letters, new photographs and even archival footage. This is all combined with historically accurate recreations of the attic where the refugee Frank family spent two years hiding from the Nazis. Together it all provides a fascinating look into Anna's daily life. At the end, the filmmakers then examine Otto Frank's efforts to preserve his daughter's memory and to keep alive her message of peace. Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

May 25, 2004: This movie is so beautiful. If you are a girl at the age of 12 through 14 you would find this movie as something you could relate to. Anne's words and actions are forever imprinted on my mind for she portrayed her emotions with such clarity. The problems that this young girl goes through with her bodyand her family will cause you to laugh and weep at the same time or in different intervals. The film in its own was vivid and just righteous. Everything looks so real that you feel that you are there at that place at that time. I cried in this movie like I have never cried before. Why you ask? Because it touched me, it pulled me, it carried me away. I held myself during this movie thankful for the life I have and the blessings that came my way. Don't get me wrong this movie is not all sad. In fact its quite comical. Anne is as her last name states,FRANK. Mrs. Van Dann causes you to laugh almost every time she opens her mouth.
