Gifted operatic tenor Plŕcido Domingo returns to one of the roles which helped make his reputation in this 1985 production of the opera by Umberto Giordano. Staged in Vienna, this production also features a fine turn by Gabriela Benackova in the female lead. Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
